Getting to the Hotel
Ruhpoldinger Hof
You would be hard-pressed to find a more typically Bavarian experience than a visit to Ruhpolding. The village is surrounded by picturesque mountains with countless opportunities for hiking, biking and other leisure activities and this is what makes a holiday in the Chiemgau region so worthwhile.
The Ruhpoldinger Hof is located in the centre of the village in a slow traffic zone. Parking is available at the hotel and the train station is just a short walk away.
Arrival
By car
If you are arriving by car, we recommend the following routes:
- A8 motorway Munich-Salzburg
- Exit Siegsdorf/Ruhpolding/Inzell
- Follow the B306 and then the ST2098 towards Ruhpolding
- In Ruhpolding, follow the signs for Ortsmitte/Zentrum (village centre) and continue to the Ruhpoldinger Hof

Ruhpolding has a train station, which means it is possible to journey here by train. There are regular connections from Ruhpolding to Traunstein, where you can connect with long-distance lines.
